The objective of the Transformation: Latin America on the Move Two! symposium is to bring together people who are active/interested in Latin America and the Caribbean to hear about progressive examples of change in the areas of healthcare, the environment, food security and human rights. These themes are discussion in the context of regional integration and cooperation. The majority of Latin American countries are moving away from the neo-liberal policies of the 1980's/90's toward systems based on solidarity, complementarity, cooperation and equality. Speakers will share their experiences, ideas and hopes for the future in discussion with participants.
